Santa Clause is coming to town!

Chelsie is in the choir this year at Lehi Elementary so we have been going to different events for her to perform. We found Santa at the Legacy center performance. It was so cute, we enjoyed cookies and milk with Santa's elf and got to have this cute picture with Santa himself.
The little cutie in the pink is our adopted daughter. Kasia is my good friend Melanie's 3rd little tyke. Melanie went on a cruise to the Mexican Riviera so we adopted Kasia while her mom is gone. We will be sad to send her home!

Hawkes girls.

I know I keep saying this but Jasie is growing SOO fast I can't believe shes a year old on the 8th! She is so fun and she has started throwing tantrums, giving kisses, saying "wasat" (whats that) she signs for milk and eat and more...o shes so smart. Chelsie is doing amazing in 2nd grade, she is at the top of her class and ahead of the class with reading. Sydnie is finally potty trained, with exception of night time, but that will come. She repeats everything we say to her and she can sing every song I could ever think of.

I love the holidays!!!

We had a GREAT Thanksgiving! We spent the day with Jason's Dad and step-mom and his Nana and Gramps, and his sisters and niece and nephew. Of course we ate WAY to much! Afterward we went to my Dad and step-mom's and had some of their pie...LOL we really love food!

The next day I went Black Friday shopping and finished up Christmas and birthday shopping...YEAH!
And last but not least we put up our Christmas tree, and decor. Sydnie wanted to help so badly that she went and got her little tykes chair and set it next to mine so she could reach to...She is soo fun!

Jasie was so not happy that I was taking a picture instead of rescuing her, but it was such a Kodak moment. She has become so curious, she can't take a nap until shes done exploring her bed for a while, she has started to stand up and walk around the edges of everything. Her personality is so fitting to the rest of our family, and I am a little worried that Sydnie has just been training us for Jasie...AAA! She is a TON of fun though and she is so happy and smiley all the time. Don't you just want to squeeze her?

Cheslie and Sydnie have started to bond as sisters recently. It used to be more of Chelsie pestering Sydnie to get a reaction. Lately it has been more lets play a game or Sydnie's fav. lets do our homework, she'll get Chelsie's backpack and get everything out. This picture is one of those precious moments.

So last week we had family pictures done, and it was so fun! The photographers were so sweet, and very willing to work with the kids. We went to willow park and when we got there it was raining, I prayed for a break because I didn't want to have to try again another day and it let up for the rest of the evening. We stomped like yeti's to keep Sydnie entertained, and and we did a few kissing shots to keep Jason entertained. I love my family! LOL If you need pictures done, hear is the website for the fantastic photographer www.winsorphotography.com

Chelsie lost another tooth!

Chelsies tooth was so loose that I can't believe it didn't fall out on its own. Jason asked to yank it and surprisingly she said "ok" IT WAS THE MOST GROTESK SOUND I HAVE EVER HEARD. It was a loud pop, and she started screaming, I asked if it hurt and she replied no it just sounded gross. LOL She adorable, even with teeth missing!

Happy Birthday to Brandie...

The best birthday this side of the Missisipi!
I woke up to yummy french toast and a huge homemade birthday card with a page from each member of our family, then I opened a full sized volleyball set complete with a ball. Jason did all the girls hair, including mine...he did rather well. My dad came in the afternoon and surprised me with the best kitchen gadget ever, a stand mixer, YEAH!!!! Then Jason barbecued the best chicken ever at my Moms house and made me a homemade cake decorated with purple flowers and butterflies. We played volleyball, of course, for hours. It was a very special day one that I wish could have shared with everyone. I will remember it for a long time! I do have to say that I missed the annual tradition of girls night out in August. Love to my "girls"

Jasie is crawling!!

She is growing so fast, I just want her to stay little and snuggle me all the day. She is so much fun and her personality is perfect mix between her older sisters.

Sydnie turned 2 on the 6th...YEAH!!! We bought a big water slide, and kind of made a carnival day in Grandma and Grandpas front yard. She had so much fun with her cake and ice cream. She loved opening her presents, and then throwing them and saying "Again"

It took 6 adults 3 tries to finally get Jason in the pool, he fought them all off until he had no energy left and just gave up. He is so entertaining.

Jasie Nicole is growing so fast! She is sitting up, and shes the 1st of the 3 to say Mama instead of Dada for her 1st word! I know its sad because Jason isn't here to defend himself, but I love it when she says mamamama!

Jason surprised us on Fathers day! We came home from church and only 5 minutes later he came through the door, it was so exciting! This picture was his first time feeding Jasie, since up until 2 weeks ago she was an exclusive breast-feeder. She gave up on me, I cried a bit and realized she got what she needed and so did I. I love the Father of my children! ;)

The other night was a late night at the farm, playing games and taking turns on the four-wheeler. We got home around 10 and told the girls to go straight to the bath. I started the water and went to get Jasies bottle ready and when I came back Sydnie had followed my instructions exactly! She is so much FUN!

Settling in...

I have two boxes left to unpack and I am officially a Lehi resident! It has been a lot of hard work to make things work with Jason in Saint George, but whose on the Lords side who? ME! And he is definitely watching over the Hawkes family. The girls are adjusting well, but Chelsie came from school on her second day and said "what's with the rain? This doesn't happen where I'm from." I laughed and told her she better get used to it. I am really enjoying having my family around, my sisters and my parents have been a huge help for us. I can't say I miss Southern Utah when Jason calls and says that Saint George broke 100 degrees the other day. LOL I miss all of my fantabulous friends though and can't wait to come for a visit! Sydnie is doing really good with potty training, of course it has to be her idea so I am letting my creative juices flow while I try to help her think it's her idea. Jason tested with Eagle Mountain fire and rescue last weekend so he may be coming home sooner than we thought. Cross your fingers and pray...I miss him a ton, lets just get him here. Lots of love to all! -Brandie

We are moving back home...and I feel like i'm leaving home... :( We are so excited to be around family again, but very sad to leave friends... not neighbors behind LOL. We will be living in Lehi for little while until Jasons job starts in Murray and then we plan to buy a home, not in Murray! Jason will stay behind to work and visit when he can. Life will be crazy for us, but we'll be in good company. Love to all who read.
